Either way, I found out some extremely valuable information from Joey: He doesn't like German Chocolate Cake. Now this may not be important information to you, but it is to me, because I love German Chocolate Cake.
In fact, Joey may have told me once or even twice before that he doesn't like German Chocolate Cake, but it didn't sink in because my mind just can't quite comprehend how someone couldn't like something so delicious.
But he smelled the cake baking tonight and then he asked about the frosting, because he is a smart boy who plans ahead. And when I showed him the picture on the container, he let me know unequivocally that he did not want any. So, I asked him if he wanted his cake unfrosted, and he was happy with that option. Now, why is this information so valuable to me? Think about it for a second.
The frosting that doesn't go on Joey's side of the cake does go on the rest of the cake making for a super-thick frosting and extra-yummy cake for the rest of us (mostly me). I'm actually kind of glad Joey doesn't like German Chocolate Cake.
P.S. Joey's team lost the game 4-5, but when it came to dessert I was the big winner.
