Rules were made to be bent

I am not made of stone. I am a flesh and blood Indiana native and when I see the modern-day Milan make it to the NCAA Final Four, do I stick to my TV-free month? No way! It is time to bend the rules.

Yes, I did watch Butler win Saturday night. (Is that mascot adorable or what?) And, yes, I'll be tuning in tonight to watch the final game. We may even let Joey stay up late for the event.

Hopefully, as the month goes on, there will be fewer "exceptions" to our rule of no TV for the month of April. But come on! You've got to admit this game is a good reason to bend the rule.

So, it's Movie Monday, but I didn't watch a DVD over the weekend. (Joey watched The Simpsons Movie Friday. Not for me.) But I will recommend the obvious classic, considering tonight's game: Hoosiers. If you haven't seen it, what, exactly, is wrong with you? If you haven't seen it lately, it's time to watch it again. Unless, of course, you are a gizzard.
